Little by little, our world is starting to change because of this bundle of joy growing inside me. It feels like only yesterday my husband and I were moving furnitures in our living room, rearranging the sofa. Now, we are decorating our baby’s room, and we decided to start with her crib. 🙂
Since it was a holiday and we had no work last Tuesday, we took the opportunity to do some baby stuff cleaning. Dennis decided to put up the crib, while I washed the hand-me-down baby clothes (he also helped in doing this 😉 ). I was excited because I really wanted to see what the crib would look all assembled up ever since we got it. Also I wanted to take the measurements for when we buy the beddings. Although it wasn’t brand new (one of the hand-me-downs), it was in a really good condition. Shout out to our very generous relatives for taking good care of their babies’ things and passing them on to us. 🙂
Seeing my husband put up our baby’s crib was such a wonderful experience. I felt like I was seeing him carry our baby for the first time. It was so heartwarming. I can’t wait for that first time he’ll be seeing baby Light! It’s going to be one of those special moments you just have to treasure forever.
